SAE Mark 2500がやって来る（2500と2600の関係・その１）
これまでMark 2500の後継機がMark 2600である、と書いてきた。
事実、日本ではそう説明されてきたし、
Mark 2500とMark 2600が併売されていたわけでない。
けれど、今回Mark 2500を手に入れて、
さらに、このアンプのことを知りたくてあれこれ検索していたら、
1977年のものと思われるSAEのアメリカでのカタログを見つけた。
このカタログには、Mark 2600、Mark 2500、Mark 2400、Mark 2200、Mark XXXIBが、
パワーアンプとして載っている。
Mark 2600のところには、こう書いてある。

アメリカでは、Mark 2500とMark 2600は、併売されていた時期があるようだ。
